So this Friday night Jude is officially taking his first trip (with us of course) to CA.  I have to admit I'm a little nervious traveling with a 3month old, but thankfully we are on the direct flight to LAX.  So if any of you have any great ideas of how to travel with an infant...just let me know.

By the way we are heading to CA for a missions weekend at Mariners church in Newport Beach. We will be there from this Saturday until next Wednesday with the possibility of driving over to Las Vegas to see Cirque de Soli show "O." Which would be amazing.

Then next Wednesday night we head down to San Diego to visit our family there and then we are back to Peru on the 28th. It should be pretty fun since our pastors here (the Barrigers) and our good friends Jordan and Vaness Durso will also be in this trip. We also have another trip that we are all going on in July to Australia!!!!!!!!! If you can't tell I'm pretty excited. One because Ps. Robert is paying our way,  two because Ps. Robert is one of the speakers (thus we get to go to help manage his schedule, booth, info on Peru) and three.....IT'S AUSTRALIA!!!  Probably one of the most beautiful areas in th world.

So that's the traveling plans so far.....hopefully I will be able to post pics of Jude's first of many more times that he is going to be traveling internationally. :)

I will leave you with this incredibly cute pic of him in his boardshorts at his first day at the beach. Seriously...he is so cute!

Traveling with a 3 month old shouldn't be as bad as you think! They still sleep so much at that age, and if your nurse at take off and landing that will help his ears. We traveled to Costa Rica with Ariana when she was 9 months old, and it wasn't bad at all. Now we'll be going this December with a 5yo and a 3yo and I'm a little more worried about that! LOL

It is good to have them nursing to drinking a bottle during take off and landing! He should do great for you guys. I was watching the stuff for July and would love to be there with you guys. I was some new music i'm really liking too by Hillsong. I hope you guys have a great time on both trips. I'd love to be with you and wish i could meet that little man and kiss his face. Love you friend! Miss you

Do you think you could tell Ps. Roberts you need two aa's for the trip-one to help with paperwork and the baby and then one for ministry stuff We could work it out for a sitter to come to Australia

Kristin, That's a dream come true! I'm so excited for your trip to Australia. You should have a long layover in Dallas! ;)

@lizthompson777 - Thanks friend. Seriously, I am so looking forward to it. The only hard part will be leaving Jude with my in-laws in San Diego.  I had to leave him for 4 days with them when we are in CA this last time. We'll actually I didn't HAVE to leave him. but I knew that they would want the extra time with him that we couldn't give them. So I did and it was hard.  But apart from that I am definitely looking forward to it. Hey do you remember the last time I was in CA before I headed to Australia and we hung out with you and Donnie and Stanley??? How fun was that. That was in 2004 - 4 years ago. How time flies!

Anyways, hope you are doing well. Remember keep me posted on how everything is going! :)  Love you

Oh yeah, I def. remember that!! I can't believe it was so long ago. It's amazing how time flies.

I'm sure it would be really hard leaving Jude for that long. You're a brave woman! But then again, I've always known that. :)
I will def. keep you posted on everything. There's nothing to report as of yet.
    Love you friend!!!!
    Liz
